## Synopsis

Estoy vivo (2017-2021) is a Spanish supernatural crime drama series created by Daniel Écija for La 1. Its protagonist, a policeman who dies chasing a serial killer, is reincarnated into another officer five years later and granted immortality on the condition that he never reveals his true identity. Manuel Márquez (Javier Gutiérrez) carries that secret through the daily work of a police unit, while Iago (Alejo Sauras) and Comisaria Verónica Ruiz (Aitana Sánchez-Gijón) are among the principal characters around him. Each season moves the investigations forward through case-driven episodes that build toward a larger pursuit, with the strain of living two lives shaping every choice. The show spans four seasons and fifty-two episodes of seventy minutes each, with its dramatic engine resting on the tension between duty, loss and the cost of a second chance. Its tone is melancholic yet urgent, with moments of quiet warmth and a steady sense of dread. Fans of Highlander and Forever will find resonance in its blend of immortality, mortal grief and procedural crime.
