## Synopsis

En Tierras Salvajes (2017-2018) is a Mexican telenovela created by Ramón Campos and Gema R. Neira for Las Estrellas, produced by Televisa. Its protagonist, Isabel Montero (Claudia Álvarez), is a young woman caught in a love triangle with brothers Daniel Otero (Cristián de la Fuente) and Aníbal Otero (Diego Olivera). The engine of the series is the tangle of romantic pursuit, family rivalry and hidden secrets that threatens to pull each character apart, as ambition and betrayal push them toward one another and away again. Across seventy episodes in a single continuous run, each chapter advances the romantic tension while adding new revelations about the family's past and the loyalties at stake. The contemporary Mexican setting gives the melodrama an intimate, emotionally heightened texture, with wealthy family estates and fraught personal confrontations driving the drama. The tone is sincere and passionate, with moments of heartbreak and hope balanced against the promise of redemption. Fans of Rubí, La usurpadora and Yo soy Betty, la fea will find resonance in its operatic romance and sprawling family conflict.
