## Synopsis

Final Space (2018-2021) is an American adult animated science fiction comedy series created by Olan Rogers and David Sacks for Adult Swim and TBS. Astronaut Gary Goodspeed, voiced by Olan Rogers, travels the galaxy with Mooncake, a planet-destroying sidekick, while searching for the mysterious Final Space, the last point in the universe, if it actually exists. Along the way they encounter a rotating cast of allies and enemies, including the ship's artificial intelligence AVA (Jane Lynch), the hotheaded Fox (Ron Funches), and the scheming Lord Commander (David Tennant). Each episode pushes the quest forward through serialized journeys, so the story rewards watching in order. Over three seasons the show balances bizarre cosmic set pieces, sharp irreverent jokes, and surprisingly sincere moments of loss and loyalty. Its tone is absurd and playful yet earnest, with a heart that keeps the chaos grounded. Fans of Rick and Morty and Futurama will find resonance in its sci-fi irreverence and offbeat camaraderie. The series was canceled before its central mystery was resolved.
