## Synopsis

7 Faces (2017) is a Turkish national-television drama miniseries created by Tunç Sahin, Umut Aral, Alphan Eşeli and Ceylan Özgün Özçelik and broadcast on BluTV. Across seven hour-long episodes it follows seven residents of a single city apartment building in contemporary Istanbul, with Sabahattin Yakut playing Alihan, the figure most present across the story, alongside Melisa Sözen as Banu, Merve Dizdar as Nihal and Zeynep Dinsel as Şeniz. Each character faces a major change that forces a confrontation with their deepest fear or weakness, and the engine of the series is how these private crises brush against one another in the shared stairwells, hallways and daily routines of the building. Rather than a single plot, each episode turns the lens toward a different life, so the stories accumulate into a portrait of modern urban loneliness and quiet resilience. The tone is thoughtful and intimate, reflective rather than sensational, with a melancholic undercurrent that opens toward hope. It is a self-contained single season, a limited run that rewards patient attention. Fans of Crash, Love Actually and Berlin Alexanderplatz will find resonance in its interlocking city stories and its emotional honesty about ordinary people under pressure.
