## Synopsis

Halloween Baking Championship (2015-present) is an American reality baking competition series broadcast on Food Network. Hosted by John Henson, with judges Carla Hall and Zac Young appearing across many episodes, the show gathers the country's top bakers to prove their skill against a seasonal brief. Each episode builds around a spooky challenge, where contestants craft confections such as spider cupcakes, cheesecake coffins and witch finger cookies, all judged on creativity and taste. The engine is simple: every baker wants to outdo the rest and take home a $25,000 prize along with the title of Halloween Baking Champion. Across twelve seasons and seventy-eight episodes, the format stays consistent, with tightly timed rounds and a warm, cheerful judging table. The tone is playful and family friendly, with grotesque themes handled as cute, festive fun rather than scares. Viewers who enjoy The Great British Bake Off, Holiday Baking Championship and Cupcake Wars will find a similar mix of creative pressure and seasonal whimsy. It suits a relaxed autumn viewing session, a family evening or a light background watch while decorating for the holiday.
