## Synopsis

Just Between Lovers (2017-2018) is a South Korean melodrama series created by Kim Jin-won and Yu Bo-ra for JTBC. Across a single sixteen-episode season, JUNHO plays Lee Gang-Doo and Won Jin-ah plays Ha Moon-Soo, two survivors of a building collapse who slowly discover comfort and love in each other while carrying the weight of their losses. Kang Han-na plays Jung Yoo-Jin, and Kim Min-gue plays Jin-Young, whose lives orbit the couple as their pasts resurface. Each long episode moves between the present day and recurring flashbacks to the accident, the grief that followed, and the fears that keep the survivors from trusting their own hearts. The engine of the story is the slow, painful work of rebuilding a future after catastrophe, with every small step forward tested by memory. Set in contemporary Busan, the series unfolds in ordinary streets, clinics, and homes that carry the marks of loss. Its tone is tender, wistful, and sincere, a romance that prizes quiet gestures over spectacle. Fans of Crash Landing on You, Descendants of the Sun, and Itaewon Class will find similar emotional resonance in its blend of trauma, healing, and melodrama.
