## Synopsis

Kiss that Kills (2018) is a Japanese romance drama series created by Yoshihiro Izumi for Nippon Television Network. Playboy Otaro Dojima (Kento Yamazaki) is kissed by a pale, red-lipped mysterious woman, dies, and wakes seven days earlier with the strange woman still following him. Each loop he tries to understand why he keeps dying, and the engine of the story is his scramble to change small past events before the fatal kiss comes again. Saiko Sato (Mugi Kadowaki) and other principal players around him are drawn into the repeating cycle, and every episode turns on a fresh attempt to rewrite the past. The ten-episode single season is a serialized puzzle with a mystery spine, built around a time loop and butterfly effect logic. The atmosphere mixes seductive romance with a thriller's dread and a glossy Japanese television sheen, with a steady pulse of suspense and playful flirtation. Fans of Happy Death Day, Erased and Kimi ni Todoke will find resonance in its blend of romance, supernatural rewinding and emotional stakes. Set in contemporary Japan, the story unfolds in the present day of its broadcast.
