## Synopsis

Apocalipse (2017-2018) is a Brazilian Record network serial and a Portuguese-language telenovela-style drama created by Vivian de Oliveira. Its ensemble centers on Benjamin Aisen Gudman, called Ben, played by Igor Rickli, alongside Zoe Santero, played by Juliana Knust, and Isabela Aisen Gudman, called Bela, played by Paloma Bernardi. Their lives are drawn into the prophecies of the Holy Bible's final days, as figures such as Ricardo Montana, played by Sergio Marone, and Stefano Nicolazzi, played by Flávio Galvão, move through a contemporary Brazilian landscape. The engine of the series is the slow revelation of who is aligned with the coming end, and each hour turns on faith, doubt, and the pressure of unfolding signs. Told in a single run of 155 one-hour episodes, it is a continuous serialized story rather than a case-of-the-week format. Its register is solemn, mysterious and spiritual, with dread and devotion filling the frame. Viewers who enjoy biblical mythology, prophecy-driven mysteries and long serial storytelling will find resonance in its portrayal of the apocalypse. Fans of Good Omens, The Leftovers and Supernatural will find kinship in its supernatural stakes and faith-tested characters.
