## Synopsis

When Shall We Kiss? (2011-2013) is a Hungarian television romantic drama series created by Dalit Kahan. Its ensemble centers on Dávid (Kornél Simon) and Léna (Dorina Martinovics), whose uncertain romance tangles with the lives of their friends, including Rita (Juli Básti), Gabi (Lia Pokorny), Antal (György Gazsó) and Dorka (Ildikó Tornyi). Across two seasons and twenty-six episodes, the series follows young urban adults in contemporary Budapest as they chase love, navigate friendships and drift through early career decisions. Each episode is built from small domestic encounters, late nights out, shared apartments and awkward confessions, so the drama accumulates through the ways these relationships shift and recur. The mood is intimate, conversational and wry, with moments of melancholy and warmth rather than melodrama. Its portrait of modern dating and friendship in a European capital will appeal to viewers who enjoy character-driven romance. Fans of Girls, Sex and the City and Friends will find resonance in its candid, talky ensemble view of twenty-something life. The series was canceled after its second season, leaving several storylines open.
