## Synopsis

Lost in Space (2018-2021) is an American science fiction family adventure series created by Irwin Allen for Netflix. Toby Stephens plays John Robinson, a father determined to keep his household together after a crash-landing leaves the Robinsons stranded on an unknown alien world, while Molly Parker plays Maureen Robinson, his wife and the family's steady anchor. Maxwell Jenkins plays Will Robinson, the inventive son whose bond with a towering robot, played by Brian Steele, drives much of the story, and Parker Posey plays the enigmatic June Harris. Their engine is simple and urgent: find a way to survive, repair the ship, and escape before the planet's hidden dangers catch up. Each episode is built around a fresh hazard, from hostile creatures to environmental threats, while a season-long thread pushes the family toward a larger goal. Across three seasons the series stays a brisk, hopeful adventure with a warm emotional core and a suspenseful edge. Fans of Lost, the 1965 original Lost in Space, and Star Trek: Voyager will find a similar mix of stranded-crew peril and family loyalty, all set in a far-future space setting.
