## Synopsis

Teasing Master Takagi-san (2018-2022) is a Japanese animated romantic comedy series produced by Shin-Ei Animation and aired on TBS, MBS and TOKYO MX, adapted from the manga of the same name. Across three seasons and thirty-six episodes, middle schooler Nishikata (Yuki Kaji) is determined to turn the tables on his seat neighbor Takagi-san (voiced by Konomi Kohara in the Japanese cast), a sharp-tongued classmate who constantly outmaneuvers him. Each episode is a small comic set piece drawn from everyday classroom life, such as seating arrangements, school events and friendly games, where Nishikata plots a new tease and Takagi-san turns it back on him. Classmates Nakai, Mano and Takao add quiet support and extra mischief around the pair. The engine of the show is a slow, playful rivalry in which neither side can admit the attraction underneath. The tone is cheerful, wholesome and gently nostalgic, with the warmth of a school year that feels both ordinary and special. Its light, bite-sized episodes make it a comfortable slice of life anime, and fans of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War, Horimiya and Nagatoro will find similar romantic teasing and school life charm here.
