## Synopsis

Somebody Feed Phil (2018-present) is a American streaming food travelogue created by Phil Rosenthal for Netflix. Host Phil Rosenthal, the former Everybody Loves Raymond writer and producer, wanders into new cities with an open appetite and a curious eye, asking locals where they eat and what they cherish. Each episode follows him through markets, family kitchens, street stalls and high end restaurants, with a few guest appearances from chefs and celebrities along the way. The engine is simple: a single host, a new city, and a long list of meals to try, with the cuisine serving as a window onto daily life, history and hospitality. The show runs across eight seasons and roughly fifty episodes, structured as self-contained city visits rather than a continuing story. Cities visited include Bangkok, Lisbon, Mexico City, Marrakesh, Chicago, London, Seoul and Montreal. The tone is sunny, generous and gently funny, with a warm, feel good atmosphere that rewards patient viewing. Fans of Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations, Parts Unknown and Ugly Delicious will find resonance in its blend of food, place and personality.
