## Synopsis

FLAMES (2018-2023) is an Indian Hindi-language web series created by Kunal Aneja and Apoorv Singh Karki for MX Player and TVFPlay, later available on Prime Video. Its four seasons of short episodes, each about sixteen minutes, follow Rajat and Ishita as their young romance unfolds like a chemical reaction, with Anusha and Gaurav orbiting the central pair. The engine of the series is the small, awkward moments of early attraction: crushes that flare and fade, friendships tested by jealousy, and the uncertain navigation of who likes whom. Each season continues the story, grounded in everyday college life and the restless energy of young adults learning what they feel. The tone is wistful and playful, with a warm, nostalgic sweetness around the sting of first heartbreak and the comfort of old friends. Its light, observant style makes it an easy watch, and fans of Kota Factory and other youthful Indian web comedies will find resonance in its blend of humor and tender emotion around first love. The series is set in contemporary urban India, and its era tracks the broadcast years in which it was produced.
