## Synopsis

Soul Land (2018-2023) is a Chinese animated donghua series produced by Tencent Video and adapted from the web novel by Tang Jia San Shao. Its protagonist Tang San, a disgraced hidden-weapons artisan reborn into the world of Douluo Dalu, is voiced across his ages by Shen Lei, Zhang Qi and Wei Zhai, and he awakens a spirit called Blue Silver Grass that the world considers useless. The engine of the show is his struggle to climb the ranks of Spirit Masters, where every fight, training regimen and sect rivalry forces him to prove that a weak beginning can still produce a formidable fighter. Supporting roles include Tao Dian as Xiao Wu, Zhao Lu as Dai Muobai, and Li Chanfei as Ning Rongrong, whose bonds with him anchor the story's loyalties. The series runs as one long serialized season of 264 episodes, with each episode moving the larger quest forward through battles, sect politics and cultivation milestones. Its tone is earnest and adventurous, with martial arts spectacle and a sustained sense of wonder about the spirit system. Fans of Battle Through the Heavens, Black Clover and Re:Zero will find resonance in its reincarnation fantasy and power-climbing structure.
