## Synopsis

Station 19 (2018-2024) is an American network firefighter drama created by Stacy McKee for ABC, a spin-off within the Shondaland stable. Captain Andy Herrera (Jaina Lee Ortiz) leads a crew at Seattle Fire Station 19 that includes Ben Warren (Jason George), Robert Sullivan (Boris Kodjoe) and Maya Bishop (Danielle Savre), with the newest recruits learning the job alongside them. The engine of the show is the tension between grueling emergency calls, from blazing buildings to dangerous rescues, and the personal lives the firefighters carry back to the station, where romances, friendships and family pressures collide. Each episode pairs a rescue-of-the-day with an ongoing storyline that builds across a serialized run of seven seasons and 105 episodes. The tone mixes intense, adrenaline-driven action with warm, soapy romance and a strong sense of loyalty among colleagues who treat each other as family. Set in present-day Seattle, the series balances the physical danger of firefighting with intimate character drama. Fans of Grey's Anatomy, Chicago Fire and The Rookie will find resonance in its blend of heroic workplace stakes and emotionally charged ensemble relationships.
