## Synopsis

Skam France (2018-present) is a French national-television teen drama series created by Julie Andem for YouTube and France TV Slash. Following five French girls and their friends through their high school years, the show gives each season to a different character, so viewers move between friend groups and private inner lives as the group's bonds shift. Its engine is simple and emotionally direct: adolescents trying to figure out who they are, who they can trust, and what they want from love and friendship while the school day, parties and phone messages keep pressing in. Principal cast includes Assa Sylla as Imane Bakhellal, Axel Auriant as Lucas Lallemant, Khalil Ben Gharbia as Bilal Cherif and Lucie Fagedet as Tiffany Prigent. Built as a serialized, ongoing run of twelve seasons, the series mixes intimate close-ups with conversational scenes that feel like confidences shared among friends. Its tone is sincere, tender and sometimes harrowing, with attention to identity, sexuality and mental health. Fans of Skam, Heartstopper and Euphoria will find resonance in its raw teen emotion and its focus on adolescent friendship.
