## Synopsis

The Last O.G. (2018-2021) is an American TBS sitcom created by John Carcieri and Jordan Peele. Tracy Morgan plays Tray, an ex-felon released after a fifteen-year stint for good behavior, who comes home to a Brooklyn neighborhood transformed by gentrification. Tiffany Haddish plays Shay, a woman from his past whose life has moved on in ways he did not expect, while Cedric the Entertainer appears as Mullins, adding another sharp presence to the neighborhood. Tray's engine is simple and funny: he wants to reclaim his place, to reconnect with the people he left behind, and to make sense of a block where new cafes and new neighbors have replaced the familiar corners. Each episode is a self-contained comic situation built from everyday friction, such as rent, relationships, and clashes with newcomers, all played in brash, profane banter. Across four seasons of ten episodes each, the show stays a single-camera comedy with a steady rhythm rather than a sprawling mystery. Its tone is irreverent and street-smart, with warmth underneath the jokes. Fans of Atlanta and Martin will find resonance in its blend of Black urban humor and social observation. The series was canceled after its fourth season, and the run is captured in forty half-hour episodes.
