## Synopsis

Mi marido tiene familia (2017-2019) is a Mexican telenovela romantic comedy created by Aurelio Ávila, Juan Osorio Ortiz and Héctor Forero López for Las Estrellas. Julieta (Zuria Vega) is thrilled to be living with her boyfriend Robert (Daniel Arenas), largely because he has no family to bother them. Their comfortable arrangement unravels when they rent an apartment from an eccentric household, the Córcega family, still carrying the weight of an old traumatic incident. Matriarch Imelda (Silvia Pinal), patriarch Eugenio (Rafael Inclán) and their relatives begin to entangle the couple in their affairs, turning domestic routines into escalating comic chaos. Julieta's romance with Robert is tested as the household's secrets surface. Running across two seasons and roughly 269 episodes, the series unfolds as a long-form serialized soap with a continuing storyline, built on daily misunderstandings, family meddling and heightened melodrama. Its tone is breezy and sentimental, mixing farce with warm romance. Fans of Yo soy Betty, la fea and Juana Inés will find resonance in its blend of telenovela melodrama and lighthearted romantic comedy. Produced by Televisa, the show is a defining example of Mexican telenovela tradition.
