## Synopsis

Robot Chicken (2005-2022) is an American adult animated sketch comedy series created by Seth Green and Matthew Senreich for Adult Swim. Its title character, a chicken revived as a cyborg by the mad scientist Fritz Huhnmorder, is tortured by being forced to watch a parade of television shows, and each episode is a rapid run of short parody sketches. The sketches are staged with action figures, dolls and toys in stop motion, skewering movies, cartoons, superheroes and advertising with irreverent, gleefully crude humor. Voice work is provided by Seth Green, Matthew Senreich and Breckin Meyer, and the show ran eleven seasons. Its tone is sardonic and anarchic, with a loving affection for the pop culture it mocks. Fans of Family Guy, Mad TV and Moral Orel will find resonance in its irreverent satire and handmade absurdity. The short runtime keeps episodes brisk, and the format rewards viewers who enjoy quick, scattered jokes.
