## Synopsis

Uti vår hage (2003-2008) is a Norwegian sketch comedy series created by Harald Eia, Atle Antonsen and Bård Tufte Johansen for NRK. Its three comedians star in the show, which runs across two seasons totalling fourteen half-hour episodes and was broadcast in two separate runs on the Norwegian state channel. Each episode opens with one main storyline that gradually splinters into several smaller comic threads, so a single premise can wander through a series of linked skits. The trio plays a range of recurring figures, including the popular Lena from Døden på Oslo S and the local Oslolosen, and the sketches rely on deadpan observation and sharp, self-mocking satire of everyday Norwegian life. The tone is breezy and ironic, with a playful, conversational rhythm and a light-hearted affection for its characters. Its episodes are self-contained and easy to dip into in any order, and the first season marked the first time the three performers worked together. Fans of Monty Python's Flying Circus, Little Britain and the Swedish satire Svenska Hem will find a similar appetite for absurd, character-driven sketch comedy.
