## Synopsis

Harrow (2018-2021) is an Australian crime drama series created by Stephen M. Irwin and Leigh McGrath for ABC TV. Ioan Gruffudd plays Dr. Daniel Harrow, an unorthodox and brilliant medical examiner whose forensic skills are his greatest asset and his greatest danger. When a dark secret from his past threatens to surface, he must work the autopsy table and the police investigations around him while keeping that history buried. Alongside him, Jolene Anderson plays Dr. Grace Molyneux and Darren Gilshenan plays Dr. Lyle Fairley, colleagues whose trust and suspicion shape each case. Remy Hii plays Simon Van Reyk, adding further pressure to the investigations. The engine of the series is the tension between a case of the week and a personal secret that keeps threatening to unravel. The show runs for three seasons of ten episodes each, combining procedural crime work with a serialized thread about the past. Set in contemporary Australia, it moves through morgues, police rooms and tense interviews. Its tone is taut and brooding, with a moral unease that lingers beneath the forensic detail. Fans of Bones, Quirke and Dexter will find resonance in its clinical precision and its portrait of a flawed expert hiding a past.
