## Synopsis

Persona (2018-2024) is a Turkish crime drama series created by Hakan Günday for puhutv and GAİN. Haluk Bilginer plays Agâh Beyoğlu, a retired judicial officer who, after an Alzheimer's diagnosis, resolves to carry out a murder he has been planning for years. Erdal Özyağcılar as Kader Kaytan, Şebnem Bozoklu as Zuhal Çelik and Recep Usta as Deva Çelik orbit his deliberate, shrinking window of time, as every step must be taken before his memory fails him. The engine of the series is the tension between a meticulous plan and a mind that is slipping away, with each episode built around surveillance, careful lies and the mounting risk of exposure. Across two seasons totaling twenty-two episodes, the story moves at a measured pace in a grounded Turkish setting, with a sober, melancholic and tense register. Its sense of decay and moral weight invites comparison with Breaking Bad and Dexter, and fans of Turkish crime thrillers such as Kurtlar Vadisi will find resonance in its unflinching portrait of a man confronting his own past and his final choices.
