## Synopsis

Creeped Out (2017-2019) is a British children's horror anthology series created by Bede Blake and Robert Butler for CBBC. Across two seasons and twenty-three short episodes of about twenty-five minutes each, a masked host known as The Curious, voiced by Aurora Aksnes, introduces a fresh self-contained story every time. Each tale follows young or ordinary characters, such as Keith Sarling, Amy Kaye and Millie Stubbs, who stumble into dark magic, uncanny visitors or unsettling technology and must work out what is happening before it goes too far. Because every episode stands alone with new characters and a new premise, viewers can dip in at any point. The mood is playful and eerie rather than frightening, with gentle scares, a strong sense of Halloween-season atmosphere and a wry edge. Fans of Goosebumps, Are You Afraid of the Dark? and Tales from the Crypt will find a similar mix of spooky storytelling and mischievous host-led framing, pitched at a family audience.
