## Synopsis

Dragons: Race to the Edge (2015-2018) is an American computer-animated fantasy adventure series created by Dean DeBlois for Netflix. Hiccup (voiced by Jay Baruchel), a young Viking inventor who has befriended a once-feared dragon named Toothless, leads a band of teenage Dragon Riders that includes Astrid (America Ferrera), the sharp-tongued Snotlout (Zack Pearlman), the gentle Fishlegs (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), and the twins Ruffnut and Tuffnut (Andree Vermeulen and T.J. Miller). Their engine is a quest to unlock the secrets of the Dragon Eye, a mysterious artifact tied to a hidden map that pulls them toward ever more dragon species. Each episode mixes airborne chases, rival encounters, and clever problem solving with a steady thread of discovery running across six seasons of thirteen episodes each. The tone is warm and adventurous, with a sense of wonder and open horizons carried by brisk flight sequences and strong friendships. Set in a mythic Norse-inspired world of islands and dragon nests, it suits families and younger viewers. Fans of How to Train Your Dragon, Avatar: The Last Airbender and Gravity Falls will find resonance in its blend of humor, heart, and serialized adventure.
