## Synopsis

Who Is Who? (2015-2016) is a Spanish-language American telenovela created by Alexis Estiz, Alberto Slezynger and Laura Sosa for Telemundo. Its engine is a pair of twin brothers separated at birth, one raised in wealth and the other in poverty, who are reunited years later by fate and find their lives strangely swapped. Rubén (Gabriel Rossi) and his twin brother anchor the story, and their journey pushes them to search for who they really are while navigating the households and romances around them. Magdalena (Marisa del Portillo) and Yesenia Pérez González (Oka Giner) are among the other principal figures whose loves and rivalries tangle with the brothers' reversed circumstances. Shaped as a single-season run of 120 episodes, the series unfolds as one continuing melodramatic arc in the classic telenovela manner, with cliffhanger-driven scenes and emotional reversals. Its tone is warm, sentimental and heightened, mixing romance, comedy and family conflict. Its contemporary Mexican-American setting gives it a familiar, accessible texture. Fans of Juana la Virgen, Betty la fea and Pasión de Gavilanes will find resonance in its mix of mistaken identity, class contrast and romantic melodrama.
