## Synopsis

Devils Line follows Ryoya Tsukasa, a half-devil who works with a police unit hunting vampire-like devils in modern Tokyo. He has sworn never to drink human blood, a vow that is tested when he meets Akira Mizuki, a college student who was attacked and is slowly being drawn toward the monstrous world. Their relationship grows from wary protection into a fragile, emotionally charged bond, shadowed by the constant threat of violence and the question of what a person owes to their own nature. The series moves between brutal action set pieces and quieter moments of tenderness, with a brooding, melancholic atmosphere that keeps tension high. Its supernatural world is built around secret predators living beside ordinary people, and the police procedural framing gives the investigations a grounded, tense texture. The result is a dark, romantic thriller about restraint, longing, and the cost of trying to stay human, best suited to viewers who enjoy anime that blends horror, crime, and intimate character drama.
