## Synopsis

Corner Gas Animated (2018-2021) is a Canadian animated sitcom created by Brent Butt for CTV Comedy Channel, an animated continuation of the live action series. Set in Dog River, a prairie town forty kilometres from nowhere, the show follows Brent Leroy (voiced by Brent Butt), who runs a rural gas station and convenience store with his friend Hank Yarbo (voiced by Fred Ewanuick). Their days are built from small errands, unhurried conversations, and the minor ambitions of a community that rarely sees anything happen. Brent's father Oscar Leroy (voiced by Eric Peterson) and the sharp-tongued Lacey Burrows (voiced by Gabrielle Miller) add friction and warmth to the stream of local mishaps. Across four seasons and forty-eight half-hour episodes, the show is a standalone comedy where each episode delivers its own small misadventure. Its tone is deadpan, wistful, and affectionate, finding humor in stillness and the ordinary rhythms of prairie life. Fans of Corner Gas, King of the Hill, and Bob's Burgers will find the same warm, character-driven absurdity here.
