## Synopsis

Una familia de diez (2007-present) is a Mexican family sitcom created by Jorge Ortiz de Pinedo and Pedro Ortiz de Pinedo for Las Estrellas. Jorge Ortiz de Pinedo stars as Plácido López, the patriarch of a household of ten who share one small house, alongside Zully Keith as his wife Renata González de López, Eduardo Manzano as Don Arnoldo López, and Andrea Torre as Lucila La Nena Martínez. The engine of the show is the daily friction of crowding a large family into too few rooms: shared bathrooms, competing schedules, romantic entanglements, and small money worries that snowball into comic misunderstandings. Each episode is a self-contained half hour built around a single household mishap, so viewers can drop in at any point. The series runs across thirteen seasons and a large episode count, and its tone stays gentle, affectionate and wholesome, with the warmth of a family that keeps closing ranks. Presented on a TV-PG footing, it suits all ages. Fans of Modern Family, Everybody Loves Raymond and The Goldbergs will find resonance in its multigenerational comedy and its cozy, familiar domestic chaos.
