## Synopsis

Good Omens follows Aziraphale, a fussy angel who runs a bookshop in southern England, and Crowley, a demon who has grown comfortable with human pleasures over six thousand years on Earth. The two have quietly become close friends while maintaining their official roles on opposite sides of the cosmic ledger. When a clerical mix-up threatens to set the end of the world in motion, they find themselves reluctantly working together to stop the apocalypse they once half-hoped would never arrive. The series is warm, playful and sharply witty, with a gentle satirical edge aimed at bureaucracy, religious certainty and human foibles. Its tone balances slapstick and farce with surprising tenderness, especially in the affectionate, slow-burning bond at its centre. Playful visual gags, a lively ensemble of eccentric supporting characters and a steady stream of quotable dialogue keep the mood buoyant. Viewers who enjoy smart, character-driven comedy with a romantic heart and an irreverent view of heaven and hell will find it especially satisfying. Its appeal lies in the charm of its odd couple and the comfort of a story that takes faith and friendship seriously while refusing to take itself too solemnly.
