## Synopsis

A Different View is a Spanish period drama set at a girls' school in 1920s Sevilla, where a newly arrived teacher carries a hidden purpose tied to the academy itself. Her presence slowly unsettles routines and hierarchies, drawing students and staff into shifting loyalties. Manuela and Flavia anchor the student world, while the rigid authority of the institution presses on every decision. Across two seasons and twenty-one episodes, the drama builds through classroom tensions, family pressures, and secrets rather than a case of the week. Its engine is the gradual unveiling of what the teacher truly wants and how the girls respond. The tone is measured and atmospheric, pairing the elegance of period costume with the claustrophobic weight of a strict institution. Its emotional register is melancholic and intimate, with a gentle, character-driven pace. Viewers who enjoy Spanish period dramas such as Las chicas del cable, or boarding school intrigue in the vein of Elite, will find resonance here. The series is a Spanish free-to-air production that rewards patience and attention to small shifts in character.
