## Synopsis

Grand Blue Dreaming (2018-present) is a Japanese seinen anime comedy series based on the manga by Kenji Inoue, produced by Zero-G and broadcast on MBS, TBS, TOKYO MX and BS11. It follows a college student, Iori Kitahara (voiced by Yuma Uchida), who joins a local scuba diving club after meeting its rowdy upperclassmen. Kouhei Imamura (voiced by Ryohei Kimura) and Shinji Tokita (voiced by Hiroki Yasumoto) lead the group, while Chisa Kotegawa (voiced by Chika Anzai) and Aina Yoshiwara (voiced by Kana Asumi) anchor the campus social circle. The engine of each episode is simple: a new drinking session, beach outing or diving trip spirals into chaos, with the club's bravado and bad judgment escalating through every set piece. The series runs three seasons and thirty-six episodes of brisk, twenty-four-minute stories, mostly self-contained but sharing a continuing cast. Its tone is raucous, irreverent and affectionate, blending slapstick gags with warm bromance and the sun-bleached glamour of the ocean. Fans of Gintama, K-On! and Bocchi the Rock! will find a similar appetite for lighthearted youthful chaos.
