## Synopsis

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (2018-2020) is a American teen supernatural horror fantasy series created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa for Netflix. Kiernan Shipka plays Sabrina Spellman, a half-human, half-witch teenager who moves between mortal high school life and the dark rituals of her family's Church of Night. Ross Lynch appears as Harvey Kinkle, her mortal boyfriend, while Lucy Davis and Miranda Otto play her aunt Hilda and aunt Zelda, the witchy guardians pressing her toward the coven. Chance Perdomo plays Ambrose Spellman, and Michelle Gomez plays Mary Wardwell, adding eccentric menace to the household. The engine of the series is Sabrina's struggle to keep her two worlds apart while the Church of Night demands she embrace her destiny, with each episode built around occult threats, cult intrigue, and the cost of hidden magic in a small American town. Running for two seasons and thirty-six episodes of roughly fifty-seven minutes each, it plays as one continuing serialized story rather than a case of the week. The tone is gothic and eerie, with dread, dark humor, and lurid Halloween-tinged atmosphere, offering a more sinister take on the teen witch genre. Fans of Riverdale, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and The Craft will find resonance in its blend of high school drama and occult horror.
