## Synopsis

What's Wrong with Secretary Kim (2018) is a South Korean romantic comedy series created by Park Joon-hwa for tvN. Park Seo-jun plays Lee Young-joon, an arrogant executive whose life is thrown into disarray when his longtime secretary Kim Mi-so, played by Park Min-young, unexpectedly quits. Determined to bring her back, he will do almost anything, and his pursuit collides with her own stubborn pride and quiet wants. Their relationship is driven by the everyday friction of a corporate office, with the boss's obsessive efforts producing escalating comic set pieces while the supporting cast, including Lee Tae-hwan, Pyo Ye-jin and Kang Hong-suk, adds rivalries and romantic complications. The series is a single sixteen-episode season of seventy-minute episodes, with a warm, breezy tone that slides toward sincere emotional moments about trauma and loneliness. Its bright Seoul corporate setting and polished production make it a glossy office romance. Fans of Cheese in the Trap, Boss in the Mirror and Descendants of the Sun will find resonance in its blend of chaebol glamour, playful banter and romantic longing.
