## Synopsis

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power (2018-2020) is a American animated fantasy adventure series created by ND Stevenson for Netflix. Soldier Adora, voiced by Aimee Carrero, finds a magic sword that reveals her identity as the legendary hero She-Ra, and she joins the Rebellion on the planet Etheria. Her closest friend Catra, voiced by AJ Michalka, remains with the tyrannical Horde, and their bond strains as loyalties split. Principal allies include Glimmer, voiced by Karen Fukuhara, and Bow, voiced by Marcus Scribner, who fight alongside her, while Hordak, voiced by Keston John, commands the enemy forces. The engine of the series is a steady struggle between rebel missions, magical battles and personal rivalries, with each season built around new threats to the Rebellion. Its five seasons form one continuing story told in a bright, bold style, with a sense of warmth, loyalty and hope. Its tone blends hopeful adventure with emotional depth, and its themes of friendship, destiny and self-discovery will appeal to viewers who enjoy Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. Fans of Sailor Moon will find resonance in its magical girl transformation and found family heart. It is an accessible, family-friendly series suited to young viewers and adults alike.
