## Synopsis

Angels of Death (2018) is a Japanese seinen anime series produced by J.C.STAFF and broadcast on AT-X, adapted from a video game and running for a single twelve-episode season. Rachel Gardner (Haruka Chisuga), a girl who wakes with no memory inside a sealed, sinister facility, finds an unexpected ally in Isaac "Zack" Foster (Nobuhiko Okamoto), a serial killer who is trapped there with her. Rachel's goal is simple and urgent: get out of the building alive. Each episode is built around hostile rooms, traps, and fellow captives whose motives remain murky, and the pair must weigh how far they can trust each other while the threat keeps escalating. Other principal figures, including Daniel "Danny" Dickens (Takahiro Sakurai) and Abraham Gray (Hochu Otsuka), deepen the mystery of why these people were gathered. The tone is tense and unsettling, with gore and a cold, clinical atmosphere that will appeal to viewers who enjoy psychological suspense. Fans of Future Diary, Corpse Party, and Death Parade will find resonance in its grim survival puzzle and its uneasy moral tangle. Rated TV-MA, it is a violent, adult-oriented series for viewers who want a dark, tightly paced thriller.
