## Synopsis

Big City Greens (2018-present) is an American animated family sitcom created by Shane Houghton, Chris Houghton and Monica Ray for Disney Channel. Ten-year-old Cricket Green (voiced by Chris Houghton) is a mischievous, relentlessly optimistic country boy who moves with his wildly out-of-place family into a crowded city. His older sister Tilly Green (Marieve Herington), father Bill Green (Bob Joles) and Gramma Alice Green (Artemis Pebdani) bring their farm habits and rural instincts into urban life, and each eleven-minute episode is built from small, concrete mishaps: a schoolyard scheme, a neighborhood feud, a job gone sideways, a clash over city etiquette. Cricket's sunny scheming keeps pushing the story forward while the family's mismatched personalities supply the comedy. Zeno Robinson's Remy and Wendi McLendon-Covey's Nancy round out the neighborhood. The tone is breezy, warm and cheerful, with a fish-out-of-water comedy at its core. Fans of Bluey, Phineas and Ferb and The Simpsons will find resonance in its gentle absurdity and domestic chaos. Its episodic format makes it an easy, endlessly rewatchable family show.
