## Synopsis

Miss Caretaker of Sunohara-sou (2018) is a Japanese animated slice of life comedy adapted from a manga and produced by SILVER LINK. with broadcast on AT-X and bilibili. Shiina Aki (voiced by Eri Kitamura), a young boy constantly mistaken for a girl because of his feminine looks, moves to Tokyo to start middle school and resolve to toughen himself up. He arrives at Sunohara-sou, a shared dormitory run by the kind-hearted caretaker Sunohara Ayaka (Rina Sato), and finds himself living among a cluster of girls, including fellow student council members Kazami Yuri (Yume Miyamoto) and Yamanashi Sumire (Asami Seto). The engine of the show is the daily friction of that arrangement: awkward misunderstandings, mounting embarrassment, and the small domestic rhythms of a crowded house where everyone has their own quirks. Each of its twelve episodes of roughly twenty-four minutes is a self-contained run of everyday mishaps rather than a continuing plot, so it can be dipped into in any order. The tone is light, breezy and affectionate, with a comforting sitcom warmth and a playful romantic edge that keeps the mood cozy rather than heavy. Fans of Love Hina, Ouran High School Host Club and Lucky Star will find a similar mix of dormitory comedy, gentle slice of life and good-natured romantic teasing in this single-season series.
