## Synopsis

See (2019-2022) is an American post-apocalyptic science fiction drama created by Steven Knight for Apple TV. Centuries after a virus has blinded humankind, a fierce warrior named Baba Voss (Jason Momoa) must protect his tribe when his children are born with the mythic ability to see. Queen Sibeth Kane (Sylvia Hoeks) hunts the twins as a threat to her hold on power, and Baba Voss's struggle to keep his family alive drives the story forward. Principal players include Hera Hilmar as Maghra and Christian Camargo as Tamacti Jun, whose loyalties and rivalries shape the tribal politics. The three-season run is a serialized epic in which each season builds on a continuing war, with sword fights and bloody skirmishes punctuating long stretches of political maneuvering. Set in a sightless future world that has forgotten its own history, the series layers brutal survival with myth and religion, producing a tense, brooding and sometimes melancholic tone. Its rugged landscapes and ritual-heavy society give it a stark, elemental atmosphere. Fans of Game of Thrones and the bleak tribal intrigue of The 100 will find much to appreciate here.
