## Synopsis

Yeh Meri Family (2018-present) is an Indian scripted family drama series created by Sameer Saxena for TVFPlay and Amazon miniTV, produced by The Viral Fever. Set in the summer of 1998, it follows a twelve-year-old boy whose view of his household shifts as he sorts through his feelings about the people he lives with. Rajesh Kumar plays Sanjay Awasthi, the father at the center of the household, while Juhi Parmar plays Neerja Awasthi, the mother, and Hetal Gada plays Ritika Awasthi, the older sister. Vishesh Bansal plays Harshal, known as Harshu, the boy whose perspective frames the stories. The engine of each episode is small domestic friction: sibling rivalry, parental expectations, extended family visits and the everyday pressures of a middle-class home without air conditioning. Across four seasons the series keeps a light, observant touch, building episodes around ordinary incidents that carry real emotional weight. The tone is warm and wistful, with comic irritation giving way to tenderness. Its nostalgic period detail, from cassette tapes to landline calls, gives it a lived-in texture. Fans of The Wonder Years and Little Miss Sunshine will find resonance in its blend of humor, family intimacy and coming of age reflection.
