## Synopsis

The Time Traveler's Wife (2022) is a American television adaptation, a time travel romance drama created by Steven Moffat for HBO. Based on the novel by Audrey Niffenegger, it follows Clare Abshire (Rose Leslie) and Henry DeTamble (Theo James), a couple whose marriage is complicated by Henry's involuntary jumps through time. Clare waits for a husband who keeps vanishing from her present and reappearing in moments from his past and future, while the two try to build an ordinary life around his unpredictable absences. Each episode weaves between their courtship, their attempts at family, and the strange logic of a love that must be lived out of sequence. Natasha Lopez and Desmin Borges support the central pair in a single six-episode season, and the story stays tightly focused on the couple's bond. The tone is romantic, intimate and bittersweet, with a magical undercurrent that treats time travel as a wound rather than a gimmick. Viewers who enjoy Outlander, About Time and Dark will find a similar pull of devotion, longing and fate. The series was canceled after one season, leaving its story unfinished.
