## Synopsis

Dead to Me (2019-2022) is an American dark comedy drama created by Liz Feldman for Netflix. Christina Applegate plays Jen Harding, a tightly wound widow whose grief over her husband's death hardens into obsession with finding the hit-and-run driver who killed him. Linda Cardellini plays Judy Hale, an eccentric, relentlessly upbeat woman who befriends Jen and turns out to be far more complicated than she first appears. James Marsden and Luke Roessler appear in principal roles that tie into the family and the investigation. The engine of the series is the uneasy partnership between two women who each carry secrets, as Jen's search for justice runs alongside the household routines of a suburban California family and the lingering damage of loss. Each season is a serialized run of ten episodes, with the mystery unfolding in tandem with the characters' personal lives. The show mixes sharp, mordant humor with raw emotional moments, producing a tone that is both wry and melancholy. Viewers who enjoy the sly tragicomedy of Fleabag, the messy emotional stakes of Big Little Lies, and the female friendship at the heart of Broad City will find resonance here. Its three-season run stays tightly focused on grief, loyalty, and the cost of keeping secrets.
