## Synopsis

Survivors (2008-2010) is a British post-apocalyptic drama series created by Terry Nation and Adrian Hodges for BBC One. Julie Graham plays Abby Grant, Max Beesley plays Tom Price, and Paterson Joseph plays Greg Preston, a handful of people who come through a deadly virus that has wiped out most of the world's population. Their engine is simple and urgent: they must find food, shelter, and safety while navigating fear, scarcity, and the moral compromises of a shattered society. Each episode is built from concrete survival problems, scavenging for supplies, deciding whom to trust, and facing the threat of other people as much as the disease itself. Across two seasons of twelve episodes in total, the story follows the group as they search for a place to settle and a way to rebuild. The setting is a present-day Britain turned quiet and empty, and the tone is bleak yet quietly hopeful, with a sombre, character-focused intimacy. Fans of The Walking Dead, The Stand and other pandemic survival dramas will find resonance here. The show was cancelled after its second season, so its final episode ends without full closure, leaving the group's future open.
