## Synopsis

Paramedics (2012-present) is a Mexican television medical drama series created by Sandra García Velten for Canal Once. Three new paramedics, led by Elisa Gaona (Irene Azuela), Salvador García (Luis Arrieta) and Natalia Velasco (Marianna Burelli), start out in the ambulances of a sprawling metropolis and try to keep their footing as they answer one emergency after another. The engine of the show is the daily grind of responding to calls in crowded neighborhoods, where each shift brings a new crisis, and where the crew's own rivalries and friction with colleagues like Damián Molina (Raúl Méndez) and Ericka Ávila (Rocío Verdejo) can make the work even harder. Each episode tends to pair a single emergency with the personal tensions that follow the team back to the station. The series runs across three seasons and thirty-five episodes, with a rapid, urgent rhythm and a tone that mixes tension, grit and camaraderie. Its shifting cases and ensemble dynamics recall Third Watch and Chicago Fire, and fans of Rescue Me will find a similar blend of urban emergency work and raw workplace feeling. The result is a fast, earnest drama about endurance, loyalty and the cost of answering the call.
