## Synopsis

Summer Camp Island (2018-2023) is an American animated surreal comedy series created by Julia Pott for Cartoon Network, with its later run also appearing on HBO Max. Oscar and Hedgehog are dropped off at a strange summer camp where the everyday rules bend constantly, with magical camp counselors, talking objects, and sticky notes that open portals to other dimensions. Oona Laurence voices Hedgehog and Elliott Smith voices Oscar, while Julia Pott voices Susie, and Mike Birbiglia voices Howard. Each short episode is a self-contained vignette built from small social situations, odd creatures, and playful mishaps that turn into imaginative adventures. The show runs six seasons across roughly 120 eleven-minute episodes, with episodes watchable in any order. Its tone is gentle, whimsical, and sweetly absurd, with a warm emotional core about friendship and growing up. Its hand-drawn look and dreamy logic will appeal to fans of Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, and Steven Universe, who enjoy surreal animated worlds built for young audiences.
