## Synopsis

Booba (2014-2024) is a Russian computer-animated preschool series created by Nikolay Okorokov and produced by 3D Sparrow, released largely on YouTube. Its title character, a little round creature voiced by Roman Karev, is a child-like protagonist who approaches the curiosities around him with unhurried wonder, while companions Loola (Elena Kareva), Dragon (Dakeshi), Spike (Vyacheslav Kataev) and Googa (Valery Pankov) join him in small adventures. Each four-minute episode is built from simple discoveries in ordinary surroundings, so the engine of the show is curiosity itself: a new object, a puzzle or a minor mishap that the characters explore together in playful, uncomplicated stories. The run spans five seasons and well over a hundred episodes, a continuing but largely episodic format that suits very young viewers. The tone is gentle, bright and cozy, with a sincere, nonthreatening sense of play. Fans of Pororo the Little Penguin, Peppa Pig and Teletubbies will find a similar warmth and childlike gentleness in its bite-sized, curiosity-led vignettes.
