## Synopsis

No Good Nick (2019) is an American family comedy created by David H. Steinberg and Keetgi Kogan for Netflix. The series follows a young, street-smart grifter named Nicole Franzelli (Siena Agudong) who shows up on the doorstep of the Thompson household claiming to be a distant relative. Her arrival unsettles the family headed by Ed Thompson (Sean Astin) and Liz Thompson (Melissa Joan Hart), whose teenage daughter Molly Thompson (Lauren Lindsey Donzis) and son Jeremy Thompson (Kalama Epstein) find their routines and loyalties tested. Each episode is built from small schemes, awkward household mix-ups, and the everyday friction of a blended suburban home, with the newcomer's hustles drifting between mischief and genuine warmth. The tone stays breezy, light, and sitcom-bright, with a family-friendly comic register that suits a relaxed evening. Its 20 half-hour episodes across a single season give it the feel of a compact, self-contained comedy rather than a long serialized saga. Fans of Modern Family and light family sitcoms with a scheming outsider will find the same mix of domestic chaos and affection here. Viewers searching for a feel-good family show with a mischievous heroine will find this one an easy, cheerful watch.
