## Synopsis

Adulting (2018-2021) is an Indian web comedy-drama series created for YouTube and Amazon miniTV, a short-form three-season run of fifteen roughly twenty-five-minute episodes. Ray Madhav (Yashaswini Dayama) and Nikhat Rizvi (Aisha Ahmed) are two twenty-something women trying to make their way through independent adult life in Mumbai. The engine of the show is their everyday attempts to handle work, money, housing, and social obligations, with each episode built from small shenanigans and mishaps that escalate in the chaotic rhythm of city living. Their friendship anchors the series, and supporting players such as Viraj Ghelani as Manav and Sheeba Chaddha as Nafisa bring extra complications into their lives. The tone is breezy and warm, with a light, self-aware humor that never loses sight of the anxieties beneath the jokes. Set in a contemporary Mumbai of crowded streets and cramped apartments, the series sits within the Hindi-language digital comedy tradition. Fans of Girls, Broad City, and Little Things will find resonance in its portrait of young urban women figuring out adulthood one awkward day at a time.
