## Synopsis

Baby (2018-2020) is an Italian teen drama series created by Andrea De Sica, Antonio Le Fosse, Giacomo Mazzariol, Marco Raspanti, Romolo Re Salvador and Eleonora Trucchi for Netflix. Across three seasons and eighteen episodes, the story follows two teenage girls from a wealthy district of Rome, Chiara Altieri (Benedetta Porcaroli) and Ludovica (Alice Pagani), who grow fed up with their families and classmates and are drawn toward the city's underworld. Their pursuit of excitement and independence pulls them into secret lives that run parallel to their school days, with the bright surface of privileged adolescence gradually cracking under the weight of what they are hiding. Principal characters include Fabio Fedeli (Brando Pacitto), Niccolò Rossi Govender (Lorenzo Zurzolo) and Damiano Younes (Riccardo Mandolini), whose lives tangle with the girls' choices. Each episode of this serialized drama stacks school corridors, family dinners and nighttime city streets against the danger of the underworld. The tone is tense and unsettling, with a melancholic undercurrent of adolescent restlessness and class tension. Viewers who enjoy the teen drama style of Elite and Gossip Girl will find resonance in its portrait of privileged youth and the costs of secrecy.
