## Synopsis

Boarding School Juliet (2018) is a Japanese animated romantic comedy series produced by LIDENFILMS and broadcast on MBS and TBS. Set at Grigio Academy, a boarding school spanning two countries, the show follows rival dormitory leaders Inazuka and Persia, voiced by Yuki Ono and Ai Kayano, who secretly love each other while publicly clashing. Their engine is simple and comic: every rivalry skirmish and dorm inspection threatens to expose their feelings, and the dorm mates who would be scandalized by the truth keep raising the stakes. Supporting characters voiced by Ayane Sakura as Hasuki and Hiroshi Kamiya as Scott add ensemble chaos around the dormitories. The series runs twelve episodes of twenty-four minutes each, a single season that works as a light, self-contained romcom rather than a sprawling saga. Its tone is breezy and playful, with bickering dormitory rivalry and the giddy tension of a love kept under wraps. Fans of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War and Love Live! will find the same blend of school-life comedy and romantic cat-and-mouse. Its shounen-leaning anime style suits viewers who want a short, cheerful romance.
