## Synopsis

Stockholm Requiem (2018) is a Swedish crime thriller series created by Kristina Ohlsson for C More First. Based on Ohlsson's own novel, this ten-episode single season follows private investigator Fredrika Bergman (Liv Mjönes) as a series of violent murders paralyzes the Swedish capital. Working alongside colleagues including Alex Recht (Jonas Karlsson), Peder Rydh (Alexej Manvelov) and Aina Gedda (Jessica Liedberg), she pieces together clues from grim crime scenes, following each lead through the city's cold streets and institutional corridors. The engine of the show is the investigation itself, paired with a mounting sense that the team's own safety and livelihoods are slipping away as the killer draws closer. Each episode carries the tension of a manhunt, with the case unfolding across the season rather than resolving in a single hour. Shot in the tradition of a Scandinavian thriller, the series favours brooding, rain-washed imagery and an oppressive, unsettled mood. Its tone is tense and serious, with a steady emphasis on procedural detail and character unease. Fans of The Bridge, The Killing and Wallander will find resonance in its nordic noir atmosphere, moral unease and serialized mystery.
